Mr King Salmon really loves the glow back skinny g lure
This spoon is by far my go to. works when trolling in the deep to shallow water, works all year from fishing off Vancouver island to the northern tip of Haida Gwaii. I bend my spoons for more spastic action and would recommend anyone to try!
Can’t find them in USA so use to a dealer but there out so I tried going directly to the source thank you love the skinny G in Killy McGee when fishing Nootka sound
As a professional guide that has to put fish in the boat everyday in all sorts of conditions the Skinny G spoons work! We used them trolling in Lake Michigan and also in the river day after day they were top producers. Hearing Aid was a great pattern!
When the spoon bite is on, the Skinny G line up is first out of the box. I run these spoons on long lines as well as downriggers either clean or paired up on a long lead behind a Big Shooter flasher. Its hard to beat the action of these small but mighty spoons. Green Herring Aid Photo Cred
My all time favourite for targeting Lake Trout off the Downrigger. I set back around 30 feet from the clip, watch for markings on the sounder, line up my lure and without fail, fish on the line almost every time. The Nickel Blue colour has been deadly for me! Love the hooks too.
Skinny Gs work well. Only issue I've ever had was the split ring holding the hook came off when I was landing a good size salmon. Just make sure to check the ring before each set of the line
The Killy McGee has been my go to spoon for both coho and chinook. Other Skinny G spoons work too, but I always start with the KM, and many days never switch.
Hit-and-run should be hit and done! Three days of King fishing in the San Juan's and this was the magic paired with the same style flasher. What a combination limited out every day!
