Jigging for Salmon: Lower the Mac Fish to the feeding depth, raise the rod tip 3-4 feet, and let it free-fall for strikes. When you feel a strike, set the hook.
Jigging for Bottom Fish: Lower the Mac Fish to the seabed, raise it 2 feet, and jig. Most strikes occur within 5 feet of the bottom, and flatfish may grab it when resting on the seabed or in motion on smooth, sandy bottoms.
I was never a fan of Jigging for Salmon in thr past, maybe because I wasn't using the right gear! I'm now a believer in the power of the Jig! Absolutely love these jigs!
I’ve been using the lures that I purchased for a few years, and they’ve always produced great. After the paint disappears from them, I will definitely get some more
i was dissappointed in the price as i found them for $6.78 on cabelas site a few days later. thought i was doing u a favor by ordering direct from the source.
We all need to simply unplug and reconnect with the natural wonders that surround us.
We believe while fishing time slows down, the world falls away and you truly begin to experience and appreciate your physical environment…and whoever you’re sharing it with. We communicate with each other….in-person. Even if we’re not saying a word. That is a meaningful connection.
Then, by all means, plug yourself back in and share your story…we would love to experience it.
