Parents' Say

Gibbs Fishing sponsors an annual Take a Kid Fishing Derby, as well as many other Kid related contests. Below is some of the feedback we've received from the Parents of these aspiring young anglers.

"Just wanted to thank-you! My son, Jacob won a prize in the Take a Kid Fishing. We picked up the prize yesterday. You have never seen a more excited kid! As he usually out fishes me anyway he assured me, if i was careful, I might be able to borrow one of his new lures. This was certainly a prize worth winning! I was envious of all the great tackle. You guys have done an outstanding job! I will change the way I shop and Gibbs tackle will be on the top of that list. Jacob has three younger siblings and if I am lucky they will all want to be dads fishing partners! Keep up the great work!"

"Dear Alison and Tracey,

Trent and his family just wanted to say thank you so much for all of his prizes. We just wanted to let you know what a great incentive winning can be for everyone. Trent took the e-mail Alison sent about him winning and his story from the web site to school. He showed his class and they were so amazed by what he had done. The teacher even had his story printed in the school bulletin. It was a great teaching lesson for the teacher to encourage writing skills. As Trents' parents we wanted to thank both companies for all the prizes they gave out. We wanted to send you a picture of Trent To show you how much he really enjoys going fishing. This is a picture from the summer time while sockeye fishing. Hope you enjoy it.

My son is ecstatic about being a runner up in the story contest. He anticipates showing his caps off at school.

Fishing is my sons escape and joy in life. Instead of watching cartoons on Sunday morning he is watching fishing shows. What else can I say, he loves to fish!
